Maybe this feels familiar

You have been carrying too much for too long.

Sometimes it can feel as though something inside you is broken. Panic, anger, rage, nightmares, numbness, grief, and a body that never fully stands down can be the nervous system doing what it learned to do: protect you. Those responses may have helped you survive. Now they may be keeping you on alert long after the danger has passed. We help you understand those patterns, regain choice, and teach your system how to recognize safety again.

Your body stays on alert even when part of you knows you are safe.

You understand the problem, but insight alone has not changed the pattern.

You keep functioning for everyone else while quietly running out of road.

You do not have to tell your whole story to begin. We start with safety, useful skills, and the next honest step.

More support. A clear structure.

Two intensive programs.
One deeply human approach.

IOP means intensive outpatient program: structured support while you continue living at home. Our five-week programs combine small virtual groups three evenings each week with weekly individual therapy.

Mental Health IOP

For adults who need more than a weekly appointment but do not need inpatient care. We work with trauma, anxiety, panic, depression, anger or rage, nightmares, grief, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, and the nervous system patterns beneath them.

  • Three 3-hour evening groups each week
  • Weekly individual therapy
  • Trauma-informed skills and tools, including DBT, mindfulness, practical neuroscience and brain-health education, and EMDR-informed care when appropriate

Substance Use IOP

Recovery guided by experience

Led by Jolene Walls, LPC, LAC, this five-week virtual program provides structured, evidence-based treatment for adults seeking recovery from alcohol or other substance use. Care addresses trauma, cravings, recurrence risk, relationships, and the brain-and-body patterns that can sustain addiction.

  • Three 3-hour evening groups each week plus weekly individual therapy
  • ASAM-informed assessment, recovery planning, and relapse prevention
  • Trauma-informed DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and practical neuroscience
  • Trigger and craving work, whole-person recovery, accountability support, and substance-use screening when clinically appropriate

Focused support. Room for your story.

Trauma-focused
individual therapy.

Both Steven and Jolene specialize in trauma treatment. Individual work may address PTSD, panic, nightmares, anger or rage, grief, numbness, relationship difficulties, and the ways trauma can keep the nervous system responding as though danger is still present.

Our ongoing individual caseloads are often full. When that happens, we may offer a waitlist or help identify a thoughtful referral. Every inquiry matters; recommendations are based on clinical fit, urgency, and available capacity.

What virtual group can feel like

You can be private without being alone.

Many people arrive wondering whether a virtual group will feel awkward, exposed, or impersonal. A well-led small group can become something very different: a place to recognize yourself in another person’s experience, practice new skills in real time, and discover that you do not have to perform recovery by yourself.

You control what you share. Connection is invited—never forced.

How we work

We look beneath the behavior.

Sometimes we feel broken. Often, it is a nervous system that has forgotten the danger is over. We bring curiosity instead of shame, structure without rigidity, and responsibility without judgment.

01

Safety before depth

You choose what to share. We build steadiness before asking you to go deeper.

02

Skills you can use

Leave with practical ways to interrupt panic, regulate emotion, communicate, and choose your next action.

03

The whole person matters

Mind, body, relationships, purpose, nutrition, movement, sleep, and belonging all shape recovery.

04

Connection changes things

Healing is not a performance. It grows through honest relationship, practice, and being seen without being reduced to a diagnosis.
